Production Costs and
Agreement
Producer and director fees, as well as overall production costs, may vary depending on the scope, complexity, location, duration, and specific requirements of the production.
A detailed cost estimate will be prepared after the production requirements have been discussed and agreed upon. A formal contract outlining the scope of work, services, production costs, payment terms, and other agreed-upon conditions will then be drafted and signed by both parties before production begins.
Presentations
Keoni Kealoha Alvarez has presented his award-winning documentary, KAPU: Sacred Hawaiian Burials, at prominent venues throughout Hawaiʻi. Through film screenings, cultural presentations, panel discussions, and community conversations, he has helped educate audiences about the importance of protecting Native Hawaiian burial sites and honoring iwi kūpuna.
Some of the venues where Keoni Alvarez has presented include the Hawaiʻi State Capitol, Bernice Pauahi Bishop Museum Great Lawn, Honolulu Museum of Art, and the Palace Theater in Hilo, Hawaiʻi Island. These presentations have brought the important message of KAPU: Sacred Hawaiian Burials to government leaders, cultural organizations, students, educators, community members, and the general public.
These educational presentations are designed to teach and share Indigenous knowledge about traditional Hawaiian burial practices, iwi kūpuna, cultural values, and the importance of protecting sacred burial places.

The program may include a screening of the two-hour documentary film KAPU: Sacred Hawaiian Burials, followed by a question-and-answer session with filmmaker and author Keoni Kealoha Alvarez. Audiences have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in meaningful discussion about Hawaiian burial traditions, cultural preservation, and the protection of iwi kūpuna.
Book Signing & Meet the Author
A book signing and meet-and-greet with author Keoni Kealoha Alvarez may also be included, providing students, educators, conference participants, and community members an opportunity to learn more about his books and continuing educational work.
Presentation length and program format can be adjusted to accommodate the educational needs, audience, and time schedule of each school, university, conference, summit, workshop, or special event.
Guest Appearance & Presentation Fee
Guest Appearance and Presentation: $500.00 per engagement.
The standard fee for a guest appearance, educational presentation, lecture, panel discussion, or speaking engagement is $500.00 per appearance.
Additional costs may apply for travel, airfare, lodging, ground transportation, equipment, extended presentation time, or other special event requirements. All fees and arrangements will be confirmed in advance and included in a written agreement between both parties.
